Our Community

The Change Leaders is a community of change practitioners created by the alumni of HEC Paris / University of Oxford Saïd Business School’s executive specialised

Master’s Degree in ‘Consulting and Coaching for Change’.
Our goal is to continue our learning journey by leveraging experts in the field, sharing our knowledge and experience, and making our individual and collective research visible.
We organise bi-annual members-only conferences, which are held in March/April in Paris and in September in Oxford. Each conference has a core theme, and content comprises a combination of guest speaker and member sessions and a selection of practitioner research, practice workshops, co-creating labs, and community life. Our conference themes are exciting and challenging: for example: “Emerging Trends in Change Management”, “Emergent Complexity”, “Influence, Power, and Change”, “Leading Change in a Disruptive Sharing Economy”, and “New Leadership”. Between conferences, our diverse global members come together, often forming partnerships to deliver coaching and consulting missions. This global network is a testament to the reach and impact of our community.
We offer two vibrant collaborative platforms : the Change Leaders LinkedIn group, a hub for all CC/CL alumni and faculty members, and our members-only platform for current tCL members. Both platforms are buzzing with activity, providing you with ample opportunities to connect, share, and learn.

Our History: The Change Leaders was founded in 2004 as a global network and community of practice. It was set up by a group of first-year alumni from
the “Consulting and Coaching for Change Programme” (now Change Leadership joint venture between Oxford University, Saïd Business School, UK, and Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC Paris), France. The community has an ongoing relationship with both organisations.

The professionals, including faculty members, have an average of 20 years of experience as leaders, managers, consultants and coaches in private, public and non-profit organisations. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise span across the globe, from North America to Europe, Asia to Australia, Africa to South America. Many speak multiple languages and have worked in numerous regions. Some work internally within organisations, while others are external change practitioners. Many are recognised researchers, writers and speakers on individual and organisational change topics, instilling confidence in the breadth and depth of our capabilities.

Our community is not just a network, it's a culture of continuous learning and growth. It's dynamic and ever-evolving, incorporating new members each year as individuals complete the Oxford/HEC programme. It also constantly expands
its body of knowledge and expertise as members conduct new research, and complete new consulting and coaching assignments. These experiences are kept within tCL and shared with individuals and organisations served by tCL members, ensuring that you, as a potential new member, will always have the opportunity for personal and professional development.
