Eileen Lee Lavergne
Innovation Director
Eileen is managing principal of Ellagora™, helping executive change-makers at the intersection of technology-driven disruptions and growth triggers, build anew.
She started her career in corporate marketing and public affairs with PR leader, Burson-Marsteller, counting AT&T, Accenture, P&G and state governments among her clients. Rising through the ranks quickly, she became the firm’s first generation of networked knowledge managers. However, it was dialing up on a modest 28Kbit/s modem to synchronize data across the world that truly piqued her curiosity.
Her wonder at the Internet coincided with the rise of ICT in global markets. She joined the client-side and rapidly caught the tech bug, driving international marketing for emerging innovations hitting new markets. Eileen later joined Cisco Emerging Markets to educate, innovate and shape ICT projects and policies for socio-economic empowerment, after realizing it was fast leaving the marginalized further behind. This became her burning platform following a master’s dissertation on globalization at the University of Westminster.
Still, she found human dynamics to be sorely neglected in change programs. That was the impetus for her executive master’s in Consulting and Coaching for Change by HEC Paris and Oxford SBS UK, with a dissertation on multi-stakeholder collaboration in smart city innovation.
Eileen gets fired up about creating new “futures” that put people at the forefront of business-technology changes. She also coaches executives on re-learning meaningful growth and change. Her work in the tCL board is as much a value-innovation exploration as it is an opportunity to re-learn with a global and diverse community of change practitioners.
