Darine Najem

Programme Director


Darine is a consultant for behavioral, organizational, and systemic change with more than 17 years of professional experience across cultures, and economies, in the Middle East region, North Africa, Greece and Turkey; in the healthcare, FMCG and consulting industries.

Her main focus over the past few years has been on developing and delivering curricula for capacity building, executive coaching and network building in a variety of sectors, including health and education. She worked with UNICEF, the Ministry of Health in Jordan, the Ministry of Education in the UAE, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and the American University of Beirut (AUB) among others.

Prior to her work on social change, Darine held several leadership positions in the pharmaceutical and beauty industries as well as in consulting, including general manager at L’Oreal for Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, where she led the organization through sustainable growth amidst instability and change.

Darine is passionate about emergent spaces for social change; believes in overcoming silos, and the value of experimenting with integrating seemingly opposite approaches, frameworks and change methodologies.

Darine has a Master’s degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from the Said Business School at Oxford University (UK) and HEC (Paris), where she serves as Program Director and Executive Board member of theChangeLeaders. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from AUB, where she serves as Executive Board member of the Alumni Association, and President of the Alumni Chapter for AUB Health Sciences.
